A Clay Soirée is a private pottery event offering either a wheel throwing experience ($95pp, max 16 guests) or ceramic painting ($75pp, max 30 guests). It's perfect for birthdays, team building, or creative celebrations.

Most Clay Soirée sessions run for approximately 2 hours, with time for hands-on creating, refreshments, and socialising.

Mayfield offers creative off-site experiences for workplaces, universities and community organisations looking for something slower, more tactile and genuinely engaging.

Ceramic painting and wheel throwing workshops encourage collaboration, creativity and conversation away from screens and meeting rooms.

We can host structured sessions, casual studio gatherings or customised creative experiences depending on your group.

Our teacher, Emma, was exceptional: funny, supportive, and welcoming. The studio had a relaxed atmosphere, filled with laughter, such a great place for a healing session. The materials provided were of high quality, offering a variety of designs for clay pots, dishes, and bowls, along with a wide range of colours. I would definitely recommend this experience to others!

I had a fantastic time at the wheel thrwoing class. Sally is an excellent teacher and a she had a great assistant who was really helpful too. It was a great introduction in a supportive environment. I would highly recommend trying a class at the studio.
