What we fire

We understand how much care goes into every ceramic piece. Our firing service supports independent makers and studios with thoughtful, reliable kiln care.

Bisque firing

For fully dry greenware ready for first firing.

Cone 6 glaze firing

Shared midfire glaze firings for approved clay bodies and stable glazes.

High-fire stoneware

For experienced makers using tested stoneware or porcelain systems.

Private kiln bookings

Dedicated kiln reservations for larger runs, exhibitions or custom schedules.

Pricing

Firing prices

Bisque firing $10 per kilo · 1kg minimum
Cone 6 glaze firing $15 per kilo · 1kg minimum
High-fire stoneware $15 per kilo · 1kg minimum
Test firings $10 per kilo · 1kg minimum
Private kiln bookings $300 per kiln load plus $100 damage deposit
Rush firing Priority firing may be available for urgent work.

Process

How it works

Bring in your work

Bring your work to the studio and complete the firing form on arrival.

We review and schedule it

We confirm firing type, pricing and suitability before work is accepted.

Collect when ready

We’ll contact you when your firing is complete and ready for collection.

  • All work must be fully dry.
  • Foot rings must be glaze-free.
  • Unknown or unstable glazes may be declined.
  • Clients may not load or operate kilns.
  • Firing always carries inherent risk.
