Reliable electric kiln firings for ceramic artists, students and independent makers across Melbourne. With four kilns on the go, your work usually comes back within a week. No booking needed: just drop in during our staffed hours to weigh, pay and submit your work for firing.

We understand how much care goes into every ceramic piece. Our firing service supports independent makers and studios with thoughtful, reliable kiln care.
Bisque firing
For fully dry greenware ready for first firing.
Cone 6 glaze firing
Shared midfire glaze firings for approved clay bodies and stable glazes.
High-fire stoneware
For experienced makers using tested stoneware or porcelain systems.
Private kiln bookings
A whole kiln to yourself, for larger runs, exhibitions, sculptural work or custom schedules. Our kilns hold around 170 litres each.
Pricing
Firing prices
Private kiln bookings include loading and firing by our team, and a refundable $100 damage deposit. Most private bookings use Bluey, our Industry 175, whose extra height suits taller and sculptural work. Ask us about booking our other kilns.

Bring in your work
Bring your work to the studio and complete the firing form on arrival.
We review and schedule it
We confirm firing type, pricing and suitability before work is accepted.
Collect when ready
We’ll contact you when your firing is complete and ready for collection.
- All work must be fully dry.
- Foot rings must be glaze-free.
- Unknown or unstable glazes may be declined.
- Our team loads and fires every piece with care.
- Firing always carries inherent risk.
